We have just celebrated our second birthday and provide Folk and Acoustic music every Thursday at the Lyceum Tavern in Malpas Road Newport.  The Function Room we use was refurbished in late 2011 and the atmosphere at the club is terrific.  Come along and see for yourself!

The Lyceum Tavern has been hosting Folk music in Newport for many years and we took over that tradition in March 2011, so we are approaching our second birthday and are toddling along nicely.

Come along to see us whether you want to play or just listen.  We are here any and every Thursday except when Christmas or New Years Day falls on a Thursday.

We charge £2.00 on the door, except when we have a guest when you will have to pay a bit more.

Doors open 20:00 on Guest Nights and 20:30 on Club nights.

We have a Links page to repay those people kind enough to put links to our site and help people find Live music venues and Festivals.

We also have a Facebook page managed by one of our regulars.  He is also called Trevor, but there the similarity ends.  Please check it out for an alternative view on what the club is about.
